THE KLARMOND MARES
ZUTATEN (PRALAT
x ZUTAT) foaled in 1982,is an ATA Honor Roll Mare. She came to Klarmond Trakehners at the age of 14 from Barr Trak Farm, along
with Zeitgeist (Preussengeist x Zitzewitz), Vorfreude (Marduc x Vanessa), and Polarmond. She has proven herself to be the ideal
cross with Polarmond, as they both have Magnet as their grandsire. This breeding
has always produced outstanding movement in their foals. Zuchtmond was our first
foal from Zutaten, and he is now owned by Nicole Chastain and training at fourth
level in Ventura, California. Our second foal is Zarinmond, owned by Joseph
Pimentel of Panama City, Florida and she is proving to be an outstanding
broodmare. Another filly went to an amateur owner/dressage rider, and her fourth
foal, Zielmond, is soon to become a
broodmare for Klarmond. Her fifth foal is from a breeding to Joe’s stallion
Impressionist, who is now four and is a stallion prospect. Zutaten always has
had a “certain look” abouther that caught my eye every time I visited Barr
Trak Farm, but I never dreamed that I might someday end up living with her. She
is always very quiet and gentle, and is a terrific mother to her foals, as well
as everyone else's. She is a niece to Zeitgeist and is a granddaughter of
Zitzewitz.
ZIELMOND
(POLARMOND X
ZUTATEN) is a 2001 17 hand grey mare with the same lovely floating
gaits as her sire and dam. She is a double Magnet granddaughter and we are
planning a 2007 breeding to the stallion Impressionist.
TAUBCHEN
(POLARMOND
X TAYA) is a 2001 16 hand bay mare with an outstanding temperament and three
solid gaits. She descends from the Tonga mare line and carries Amiego blood,
along with double Carajan, Impuls and Maharadscha. She would be for sale to the
right situation for riding and breeding, as her potential for both is wonderful.
Taubchen is also registered with the Rheinland-Pfalz Szar Verband.
Herbstnacht (IMPRESSIONIST
x HERBSTFEE) is a 2002 15.3' brown/black mare who has just recently arrived at
Klarmond. Her dam Herbstfee is closely related to the extremely popular German
stallion Hofrat through the Main Stud mare line Herbstzeit.
Luftzeit (IMPRESSIONIST
x LAHILA) is a 2003 15.3 brown/black mare. Her dam Lahila was a very successful
eventer and is from the mare family Lottka. Luftzeit is a Solling granddaughter
who carries Humboldt (sire of Impuls) and Carajan blood also, which gives her a very interesting
pedigree.
Fricka (POLARMOND
x NOVEMBER SUNRISE) is a 17.3 bay mare out of an American Remount Thoroughbred.
She is registered with the ATA as well as the Rhineland- Pfalz Szar
Verband.
